All places have separate names for each language.

You can set the app language under settings. That will determine which (1 or 2) language fields you see.

Please don’t add names in a language different from specified. Also don’t add a name in two languages in one field.

As @MortenCopenhagen said, if your app language is something other than English you will see two place name fields. Add your local language name in its field and English (if its translatable) in the other one.
