So, the beginning of something new…the world of locals.
How awesome is it that locals from all around the world can come together and post their stories for others to see. It is an opportunity to show-off your journey, the things that excite you, see the beauty of our world through your eyes.
I love sharing my experience, the places I have been. I especially enjoy promoting the bias that is my local. The world that I personally experience can be shared with other locals or travelers in order to give them the best experience. Whenever I travel, I do my best to stay with a local, whether it is someone I know or someone recommended. The world of a local, who knows the area, is so much more rich than walking down the mainstream world of a generic tour guide. You see a personal side of a place you have never seen before, so why not do it through the eyes of local.
That is why I love to post on Google Maps, being a local guide, helping people see what the best things are, where the best places are. Whether it is a well known place, or a secret area only the ‘locals’ know.
