There are around 17500 types of Butterfly in the world and the US has 7500 varieties are found. I am uploading a popular variety of Butterfly- Mimicry, which is common at our place.

You are right @ShekharMuz_5 they are incredible insects. Butterflies, dragonflies and damselflies there are my favourite insects too. I’m happy to share some of them from the Netherlands.
If you manage to get really close their eyes are amazing
This one above and beneath is what are called damselflies they differ from dragonflies as they can fold their wings together on their back.
The one beneath is a dragonfly called Four-spotted chaser (Libellula quadrimaculata) or Four-spotted skimmer (in America).
Dear @Erik_van_den_Ham ,your Butterfly pictures are amazing, these are rare captured pictures of beautiful insects.
I have little knowledge about these Butterfly, but the people of Netherlands/Holland are great as country occupies a rare place in wonderful scene in western Europe. Thanks.
