The art of helping

One of the most frustrating and rewarding experiences is arriving at a venue, shop, bar, mall or train station to find out it just closed.

Imagine it, you can already taste that burger and milkshake, or feel your new shoes on your feet, to arrive at the shop and suffer that immense disappointment. Then there is a new spark in your mind, I can help someone else avoid disappointment.

My favourite activity after experiencing a disappointment like that, is to make sure that the correct trading hours are on Google maps. It might seem like such a boring thing to add, compared to video’s of the vibe or photos of the decorations, however it’s the small things in life that gives me pleasure. The knowledge that today someone had a milkshake because of my contribution.

So next time you suffer a disappoinment, please think of the rest of us and our milkshake cravings!

Sincerely,

A local guide.
