In India i love to connect and spread information to my community and with the help of google maps i do effectively 
Well, the most interesting thing i did as a local guide -
I organized a village level workshop to teach my fellow villagers about the benefits of using google maps.
Being a local guide i know how much google maps helps me whenever i got stuck in a problem or want to explore more interesting places around me.
So i decided to organize a mini workshop for my villagers where the reach of google map and it’s use is very minimum, in that village i taught them about the benefits of using google maps, listing their business will improve their business conditions, how they can use the maps and reach the places and desitnations, how they can use satellite view of google maps to watch their lands and fields.
Also i encouraged them to use google maps more in order to get more benefits and how they can become local guide on google maps and suggest places and write reviews etc.
By this way i served and helped my local community which is the best thing i ever did as a local guide. Thanks google for that
Local guide program means to me alot , it helps me to enhance my personality and interpersonal skills. It helps me to keep on improving societies and localities. Helps me to detect fraud or wrong places , so that i can save the valuable time of mine and the people who wants to visited there.
Helps me to connect the people around the globe and feels so happy when i resolved their queries.
I help the authorities by making sure that the places have enough sanitation and what kind of problems we are facing as a citizen. It also puts a lot of impact on development by this way of contribution. Because reviews helps users to generate a view over a specific places and by giving legit, correct and valuable information i helps them to improve their visits and keep my community and places around more effective and more prosperous.
