Though the photo walk was originally scheduled to be held on Saturday the 21th April, it continued to the afternoon of Sunday the 22 April for the main reason the participants had a free weekend after final examination for the winter semester.
Eight, nursing and medical, international students attended the walk and enjoyed every aspect as an orientation tour in Canada. They were not Local Guides but were very interested in becoming ones, despite their very busy life style, working and schooling at the same time.
We took subway (Toronto Transit Commission underground railway) and then GO (Government of Ontario) intercity train reach our starting point; historic Port Credit.
The park was not busy as Mississauga was just recovering from the hit by a three-day snow storm in the beginning of spring.
Bordering Lake Ontario on the way to Niagara Falls,west of Toronto, Mississauga boasts picturesque Port Credit with a working lighthouse and a marina with a grounded freighter.
Mississauga Road is boarded with multi-million dollar mansions, Edwardian to Elizabethan.
The entire crew was vegetarian and vegans but was able to do some grocery shopping at Yuan Ming Supermarket.
