After a two year hiatus and a zombie apocalypse, The 36 Walk is back. The 36 is a World Wide Event but this one is just for Melbourne. We will meet in The Richard Pratt Gardens https://goo.gl/maps/nCs4yQZgxbzzSnBS7 between The Arts Centre and Hamer Hall. Look for the Local Guides logo.

The idea of The 36 is to do a walk and take only 36 shots you’re welcome to use any device, phone, film or digital - the choice is yours. Any person is welcome. Any experience level is welcome. If you need photo taking help sing out and we’ll be glad to help you.

The walk will take us to some of the cool photographic spots around Melbourne and finish with dinner for those who wish to join in. If the weather is kind this will be a self catered picnic.

I love a good walk so depending on my situation then I may join in @PaulPavlinovich . If not I wish everyone that does a fantastic 36 shoot and look forward to seeing the best of these!

Yes as @Theatreperson mentioned it’sElection day, oh well :disappointed:

Also @PaulPavlinovich did you realize that in the subject you’ve said the time for the meet is 3pm yet in the banner you’ve said 2pm…some might be confused by this. Also, I believe that the Richard Pratt Gardens are closed. Anyway, there’s plenty of area around there to meet!

Hi @helen-d there usually is a 36 in Sydney but not this year as the usual organiser was unable to do it.

@HashirRKV sorry I only just saw this! I apologise as the walk was on Saturday.

@AdamGT the gardens are open, its the grassy area with the black pipes between Hamer Hall and NGV.
