The #1 most interesting thing I've done as a Local Guide in Bali

Building great memories and souvenirs brings the whole Local Guide experience to another level.

Look at that Happy local business and customers! Here a Snap of an amazing time spent with this team for an hour of fun, laughs and videos took! I couldn’t imagine that I would take so much pleasure being a local guide and write reviews about local businesses. Well, when I get an emotional attachment to the staff because they provide more than a service, here I go: I invest even more of my time, get into my responsibility as a local guide and spread the world with THE BEST SWING SPOT in Bali!

The journey started on a rainy and cloudy day driving our scooter to this most hidden swing place in Bali.

First of all, The road that brings us there was so worth it. The place is located not too far from a Lake in the mountain. The more we went up and the more the view was UN-BE-LIE-VABLE!! We stopped so many times to take pictures and videos of the lake from above. The road was so quiet, humid and we could not wait to get to this swing place. We also lost our way quite a few times which means that the place was quite well hidden, this is for sure!! Once arrived, parked, I saw this Swing place entrance. I immediately started acting like a kid, excited to finally found the place that brings so much good energy as soon as you get there.

I made it!

The journey to get there was not the only adventure that I experienced. On the way, we spent so much money than expected and we could not find any ATM on the way. Once we get there, we realized that we were running out of money to be able to do this activity. Remember how excited I was at the entrance… Imagine my face when I realized I haven’t enough money to enjoy the swing. Fortunately, I got some Singaporean dollars in my wallet. I then asked the staff if I could pay in my local currency and not with their Indonesian currency. Thank God, the exchange rate in Singaporean dollars was better than the dollars, so they accepted to take my Singaporean dollars and I gave them some extra as a thank you. The picture shows exactly the release I felt when I found a way to enjoy this activity that we traveled from so far.

I believe I can fly (with the staff)!!

This snapshot reflects exactly the fun, the staff’s involvement in their job to make the customer happy. Well, here I was scared as they made me fly so high that I could do a 360-degree tour !! We laughed so much about it and started to bound some deep connection with this local business. This local hidden swing place is the best in my eyes. You might find a better view, location, and spot but in terms of the whole experience, I definitely put 5 STARS. The place was not crowded. We got the entire staff just for us and been able to discuss with them to know more about their business and culture. At the top of this, the place is cheaper than the Ubud swing activity. In my opinion, the most important thing is having fun and get the most beautiful experience with the actual local staff.
