What I love to share on google maps is recommendations on the local business. the thing that makes me feel passionate about it is when I receive that feedback from the owner. in that specific moment, I realize that the whole cycle “is working”. in my country owners really care about their reputation in google maps so when I write my recommendation, either if it’s good or bad they usually respond to me. This fact makes me understand that my efforts to create authentic info accessible for who wants to get it, whether it’s local or tourist is really important for the local economy. some of the business owners thank me for my kindly comment some of them willing to fix problems in order to give better service or better product. If we want to expand “the wisdom of the crowd” we need to spread the importance of local guides all over the world so everyone will a local guide in his own community.
