By profession, I am a Digital Marketer professional and being a Google local guide is excited for me to share my view on Google map platform. Many times people search for nearby restaurants and places to visit or hangout and if they found the listed places with proper reviews and information it will be great info for them and they feel very happy by following the Google map.
As a Google local guide, I always tried to add the listings/places should be very correct so that any google users should not get confused to reach the place. If the place is added wrongly by shop owner or listing owner then user won’t find it correctly and user may blame to Google map. However, its a platform provided by Google but the places gets added by users itself and Google only verifies it. So blaming Google map is not the correct thing. All those user who add the places has to be careful that they should point the mark Pin correctly on the map while mapping their places.
Most of the time I tried to add the places where I have visited. If that place I haven’t found on Google map or found wrong info or address then I try to correct it.
Being a local guide its all about relationships, sharing with everyone in such a way that makes people want to get out there and experience the world.
The community need to see the value in these places and visitors to our country/city need to experience them.
