This Thankful Thursday, we want to give a shout-out to all of you Local Guides who make a difference by checking the facts.
One of the many of you who contribute in this way is Level 10 Local Guide Masataka Nakashima from Kobe, Japan. He’s checked over 20,000 facts, made over 8,000 edits, and published nearly 40 extremely detailed lists. Some of our favorites include cafes in Hyogo,Takoyaki list, a noble cherry blossom list, and Tokyo cafe list.
The level of detail in his reviews is amazing. He has written reviews that include helpful information on parking spaces as this is an issue for those in his area. “In Japan, parking fees greatly fluctuate in a short span of time, so it is more accurate for me to introduce parking spots, instead of the actual prices/rates,” he said. “In this way, people can visually check and confirm the correct prices.”
He also writes interesting reviews of some not-so-typical places and is very active right here on Connect. We love seeing his posts that feature high-quality photos that are extremely helpful to his community in Japan and others around the world.
