Thalawathugoda Photo Walk 2019

Thalawathugoda (https://goo.gl/maps/4ezta9BeiBn) is a suburb, which is well known as an emerging city in Colombo. This is a rapidly developing residential area with many facilities. The Diyawanna Oya (Parliament Lake - https://goo.gl/maps/bXqRvhSQio22) forms one side’s boundary of Thalawathugoda. Even though this city is getting busier by the day, there are still plenty of places where we can capture scenic views consisting flora and fauna. We will focus on capturing some quality photographs of day-to-day life in Thalawathugoda as well as the main entities alongside the road. We will start at “Keells Super Car Park” near Thalawathugoda junction and work our way towards the parliament side (towards Keells Super Market) where we can find the “Parliament Lake”. We will also visit the “Diyasaru Park” (https://goo.gl/maps/yHiYizXZAZT2) which is commonly visited for bird watching. Hopefully we can capture 360 photos of different sceneries such as parks and lakes. The cover photo was taken in a morning near Hokandara, Thalawathugoda. Then we can end the walk at Kimbulawala junction and have some sanks at the “Army Café” (https://goo.gl/maps/CBFHf7gzgRE2).
