Thaipusam is a very important Hindu festival in Malaysia. This year in 2019, Thaipusam falls on Jan 21, 2019 (Mon). Batu Caves is the main location where devotees and and visitors come to for joining in the celebration and festivities, with the huge bazaar and the large group of devotees observing the event.
Local Guides in Malaysia will be meeting up in Batu Caves on Jan 19th (Saturday) at 6pm, to join in the celebrations, take lots of photos of the location and event, and also visit the very famous and popular Thaipusam bazaar, which will be selling all manner of goods such as sweets, snacks, clothing, souvenirs etc. It will be a great opportunity of attendees to experience the celebration as well as to witness a wealth of south Indian culture.
