Let’s explore India first heritage city Rishikesh. About the Triveni Ghat (River Port) is a sacred ghat in Rishikesh famous for the Ganga Aarti. Triveni words comes from join of two words Tri (Three) and Veni (Confluence) meaning confluence of It’s one of the biggest and must visit ghat of Rishikesh known for it’s auspicious and spiritual aroma. The main daily event of attraction is the evening Aarti of Goddess Ganga also commonly called as ‘Maha Aarti’. Triveni Ghat a confluence of three holy significant rivers the Ganges, the Yamuna and the Saraswathy is a most revered sacred bathing spot in Rishikesh and is situated on the bank of holy Ganga. How to reach : it’s only 1.5 km from inter state bus terminus Rishikesh, 06 km from Ram Jhula, 09 Km from Lakshman Jhula, 20 Km from Jollygrant Airport Dehradun, 30 km from Haridwar, 35 Km from Dehradun and 240 Km from New Delhi. you can go by taxi, by bus, by your own private two wheeler and Auto Rickshaw (Tuk Tuk) also available for Triveni Ghat.
