Texel Island in the north of The Netherlands is a must see place if you travel to The Netherlands. The beaches are amongst the most beautifull in the world. The island itself is gorgeous and only a 20 minute ferry trip from the mainland. App. one hour north of Amsterdam.

Yes Texel is great! Also a good tip is to go in the spring. Then there are many 
tulip fields full of beautiful flowers and a sea of color! Very sensational. Also at the mainland around Amsterdam.

As Local Guide you can also create a Google+ page to start a Local Guides Community in locality you stay in or Join existing Google+ page.
