Terry Bakery a small Lebanese bakery in Werribee, Melbourne, Australia...

Terry Bakery is a small Lebanese bakery located in the suburb of Werribee, Melbourne, Australia. The bakery has gained popularity in the area due to its delicious Lebanese pastries and bread. Top of the list is the Cheese pie (my fave) which is a homemade hand pie filled with a generous amount of shredded haloumi cheese which has a delightful squeaky and chewy texture. Halloumi is a semi-firm, fresh cheese historically made from sheep or goat’s milk.

The bakery was founded by Terry, a Lebanese immigrant who moved to Australia several years ago. Terry had a passion for baking and wanted to bring the taste of his homeland to Australia. He opened his bakery in Werribee in 2016, and since then, it has become a local favourite.

Terry Bakery offers a wide variey of popular Lebanese pastries and bread, including za’atar bread, spinach and feta pies, and meat pies. The bakery also offers traditional Lebanese sweets such as baklava.

The bakery uses only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients, sourced locally where possible. The dough and products are made from scratch daily, ensuring that the bread and pastries are always fresh and flavourful.

One of the most popular items on the menu at Terry Bakery is the manousheh, a traditional Lebanese flatbread topped with za’atar, a blend of herbs and spices. The manousheh or zaatar bread, it is a staple of Lebanese cuisine and is a must-try for anyone visiting the bakery. Very popular with kids.

Terry Bakery has a cosy atmosphere with tables and chairs inside and out, perfect for enjoying a coffee and a pastry.

In addition to its regular menu, Terry Bakery also offers catering services for events and special occasions. The bakery has become a popular catering choice for weddings, birthdays, and corporate events, offering a taste of Lebanon to guests.

Terry Bakery is a small but mighty bakery, bringing the taste of Lebanon to Werribee and beyond. Its commitment to quality and freshness has earned it a loyal following, and it is sure to remain a local favourite for years to come.
