In these times of confusion and pandemic, tourism in Teotihuacan had a great harmful impact, since it ceased to be one of the most visited places in the world. For more than 6 months the access to the pyramids was closed, and at that time the best option to appreciate it in an alternative way was from above.
The balloon ride became the best way to appreciate the beauty of this monumental city, and with the security measures that were implemented on each flight, it has been for me one of the most wonderful experiences I have had.
Sky Balloons is the best place to live this experience, because from the arrival to the end of the flight, every detail was carefully guarded and safe to carry out this wonderful experience. Today you can walk to the pyramids again, and although things have improved a lot in these times, really seeing the archaeological zone from above is a unique experience that with or without a pandemic you should live…
very nice experience and beautiful photos. To be honest I never tried a sky balloon but I’m sure it must be a special experience and especially with such beautiful scenery it should be even nicer to admire that from the sky.
Are now the pyramids open again or still closed? And is this a sky balloon event or similar? I see a lot of balloons in your photos, or do they leave at certain time / certain days you can go and take them?
Thanks a lot for sharing your beautiful experience and looking forward the tourism will be back as before .
@LuigiZ@Thank you very much for commenting on the post. Teotihuacán is a mystical and mysterious city, walking between its temples and palaces is something magical, but seeing them from the sky is a unique and magical experience, since when “floating” on the balloon, it gives a feeling of freedom and peace that is not find somewhere else. It really is an experience that everyone should have one day. The archaeological zone is now open again every day, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Every day there are flights but on weekends is when there are more balloons in the sky, 60 or more fly. I hope you have the opportunity to come and I will gladly take you flying. Greeting
