Temple Baphuon
The Baphuon Temple, situated in a wall of Angkor Thom, is 3,000 square meters each, formerly the capital of the Khmer Empire. This temple is a Hindu and Buddhist temple that was built during the reign of the second ascetic king in the mid-11th century (in 1060 AD).

The Baphuon temple is surrounded by a wall of 125 meters long and 425 meters long. On the walls of the Temple of Sreng, where all the statues of the Brahmans can be found easily, the god Vishnu, Shiva, Brahma, but on the back of the temple is a statue of the Buddha, which is 9 meters high and long. 73 meters.
At the east entrance of the temple, there is a 200-meter walkway with hundreds of underlying busts with a unique sculpture design.

King Tep Vithirath II did not complete the construction of the temple before he died. That is why hundreds of thousands of sandstone blocks remain in sprawling spots, despite the repairs by the French Republic’s Middle School many times.
