Telluride Via Ferrata

Nothing spells adventure quite like a hike along the via ferrata (Italian for “iron path”) overlooking the beautiful Telluride valley.

The hike can be mildly strenuous with a few technical sections. The entire route can be completed in just a few hours, or take your time, pack a lunch and enjoy the views of the valley below.

Specialized gear is recommended and can be purchased from a number of online retail stores or in Telluride for adventurers that are already in town. Local guides are also available for less experienced hikers.

The route consists of a single hiking path as well as exposed sections that protect climbers with a steel cable connected to your harness.

You have my respect. I do not know if I could try something like that. Did you get nervous somewhere along the way?

The adventure looks amazing, and the landscapes must be wonderful. Thanks for sharing, greetings from Yucatan, Mexico
