waterfall is a river or water that falls from above rocky cliffs to the waterfall pool below. This movement of water is caused by the fact that water moves from a high place to a lower place. Because of this principle, we found many waterfalls in the mountains. the formation of waterfalls comes from the geological process that occurs during rivers that flow in the mountains.
Malang City is a city surrounded by mountains, so many of us find waterfalls in this city, which is why I often claim that Malang is a paradise for tourists, because all things about natural beauty are in Malang. One of the things I will tell in this post is the beauty of the “Coban jahe” waterfall ( jahe it’s mean ginger ) located in Tumpang Village “Malang City” East Java, Indonesia. to get to this place only 2 hours drive from the center of Malang, we will pass through the beautiful rice fields, and for tickets to enter this place only IDR 15,000.
from the vehicle parking area to the location of the waterfall, we can just walk for about 10 minutes, walking very close and with good road conditions for the feet, it is not tiring. We will only find a broken road at the beginning to the location and even then not all the way just a few kilometers before reaching the entrance to the Coban Jahe area.
every place in the world especially those in mountainous areas must have beautiful waterfalls, can you share photos of how beautiful the waterfall is in your place? who knows, will make other people visit there tell the beauty of where you live to the whole world.
Thank you for this post. I really like the photos you shared with us and this is a great opportunity for everyone to tell the world more about how beautiful waterfall is in different country.
I would like to share with you one waterfall in my country - Bulgaria. The name of the waterfall is Kostenski Waterfall and it is located near to the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia. The water drops 12 meters and there are small caves around .
Wow, this is awesome! Thanks for sharing the beautiful photo with us! I’ve not visited Indonesia, but I’m planning to visit spots like these, when I go. Hopefully very soon! Perhaps @AngieYC has been here?
That said, back home, we have many amazing waterfalls. I’ve visited most of them, but I will share a photo of my favorite. Howick falls is approximately 95 m in height. It is situated on the Umgeni river and is 310 feet deep.
Thanks so much for opening the topic for the waterfalls. I’m a nature lover and I really enjoy taking photos of waterfalls. You can check out my latest post about the waterfalls at Plitvice national park in Croatia.
I like challenging and hidden places in the mountains where not so many people usually go. Here is one of the hidden treasures very close to Karlovo, Bulgaria - the waterfall Suchurum. I’ve tried to make the first photo with slow shutter speed. I think that @TravellerG may like that option, too.
Your photos look very nice! Did you try to take a photo with ND filter of the waterfall?
I will share with you one photo of Krushuna Waterfalls. It’s one of my favourite waterfalls in my country, Bulgaria. A lot of foreigners go there when they visit Bulgaria because it’s a great place to relax and to take photos:
Thank you for tagging me and sadly I’ve never visit the great city of Malang as what @RivaniRahmadani mentioned but I would love to someday. The last waterfall I visited was in Bali, Tegenungan waterfall. Have you been there?.
I am living in the capital city - Sofia, but my grandmother and grandfather are living near to the waterfall. So I often go there because really like the mountain and it is a perfect place to relax. It is not hard to go to the waterfall.
