We are so happy with the feedback we received on Connect, we are pleased that you like Italy (and our post) and we have learned that you want to learn more about Italy.
For this reason we are proud to announce: #TeamItaly, On Demand - What do you want to know about Italy?
We may write more about the religion related post, analyzing the historical impact / aspect of that. Churches are part of the tradition and art in Italy, and there are a lot of churches that are a main tourist target, in Italy
Beaches - in Italy there are7458 Km, included the islands so the subject requested by @Ant_Bad_Yogi is indeed interesting. Let’s think about that.
Do you want to ask #TeamItaly a post about a specific subject? There are several other subject ongoing, and we are happy to receive suggestions and requests. I cannot promise that we will write a post for every request, but at least we will reply, explaining why we will write a post, or why we will not.
Are you an Italian Local Guide, and you want to join #TeamItaly for the challenge? Just write a reply here, and suggest a post. We will contact you
@ErmesT Thank you for mentioning me. You guys are so cool. This is so creative and nice engagement. Great idea for #TeamItaly - On Demand. I’m looking forward to read about beaches or islands in Italy.
We simply wants to share a genuine, personal experience, in our post.
We are Local Guides, we write about what we know. This challenge is an exciting experience for us, because we can share what we know, we can become friends, and we can learn more from each other
What a genius post @ErmesT and #TeamItaly! I like it! Nothing comes to my mind that’s worth a post on itself but I do have a bunch of (unimportant) questions
Who’s the most popular person on the Italian national media at the moment?
Could you recommend an Italian book/tv series/movie that’s trending there right now? I’ll be fine with some classics, too.
Who would you say is/ are the most beloved Italian(s) in history?
Could you say in just one phrase what makes you proud of your country?
You may/may not feel like writing about this, but one of the first things that comes to me when I think about Italy is fashion, I’d love to know more from your point of view
@kroza thank you also for your additional feedback and request, fashion that’s true as well, let’s say we care about what we dress, I double check it everytime hahaha ?.
Hey @ErmesT and #TeamItaly, thank you so much for your effort and for all of these amazing posts! I enjoyed reading it a lot and I hope that you will keep posting more and more about Italy What do I want to know about Italy… As I know Italy has a famous coffee culture, almost everyone drinks coffee there, right? So for me as a coffee lover it would be interesting to understand more about it.
indeed coffee is a very good topic, @ermest thank you for the tag, coffee in Naples is art!
The picture below is the end photo of my post Naples Underground: the double face of the city. This guy opened a kind of startup after fighting to have official permissions in making street “coffee” as art.
He is making coffee on the street with the original and traditional moka machine we normally use at home, it is different from the bars but it has a unique taste … and the special presentation the guy is doing as well while preparing you this wonderful street coffee ?.
@ErmesT , have a great trip in Norcia. I have checked it on Google Maps and it looks a nice place and it is the homeland of the famous Black Truffle By the way, LavAzza coffee is one of my favorite.
@LuigiZ , I know about this moka machine, because my father had a cafe and we had the same machine there. You are right that it has a unique taste and for sure with the special presentation the experience is more than wonderful.
Moka is indeed a “must have” in Italy, something that you can find in everyone’s house. The “napoletana” variation is interesting too, @LuigiZ
