Where are you from? This is a very common question, when you travel. “I’m from Italy” is a reply that usually start a process of elaboration, that can clearly tell you what Italy means, for the “not Italian” people.
Italy is …
Italy is … the Long Boot, with the head in Europe and the tip in Africa
Italy is … Food, of course, with two main elements identified on Pasta and Pizza
Italy is … Wine, that take a separate place, independent from food
Italy is … Fashion, where a special place is for Shoes
Italy is … Arts and Culture, from Caravaggio to Raffaello, to Dante
Italy is … History, from the Roman Empire to the Maritime Republics
Italy is a country of poets, navigators and Saints, we say when we talk about my country
Well, this is what most of the people think about Italy. Everything is true, of course, but …
Is Italy only this? No, it is not. There is another Italy, where the keywords Food, Wine, Fashion, History, Arts and Culture, have a different meaning. An Italy to discover
What #TeamItaly wants to do, with this challenge, is to show you a different Italy
Do you want to meet #TeamItaly? Here you can do it: “#TeamItaly - About us”

Well, If you know so many things about Italy, is because the Italians promoted their country very well, all around the world. In fact, Italians are everywhere. Emigrants from the end of the XVIII century, they moved and promoted the Italianity in the world. @GiulianoOrlando , Italian living in Brazil, will talk about his experience.
What do you know Sardegna, (ok, call it Sardinia, if you like) the wonderful island on the left side of Italy? Today @Matt95Bassett will tell us about an ancient tradition, “Sa Sartiglia”
Calabria, area of emigration. Beautiful forests in the south of Italy, and amazing cities. Gabriele ( @GabrieleDAmbrosio ) will introduce Calabria to us
Well, this is just the beginning, we will have more for you, starting from “Do you speak Italian?”.
