[#TeamIndia] Introducing our Logo, Collaborators & Action Plan - TravellerG & Selvamani_R

While sincerely thanking @ErmesT , (who gifted us the idea of #TeamChallenge – a great & unique thought – thank you very much, dear Moderator friend), @kroza , @Cecilita & all other #TeamChallenge Members, we are happy to inform you that our preliminary phase of setting up the #TeamIndia Group was very successful! Yes, as you rightly mentioned, it was really fun-filled, although we were more focused on the final goals.

Once the #TeamIndia Group was announced, fortunately within two days, the number of members grew above hundred.

Firstly, we as a team, sincerely thank Moderator @StephenAbraham for his immense support & encouragement – Hats off to you for involvements.

Our first action was to study as many #TeamChallenge posts as possible, that too as a team… then, wrote down the points to consolidate.

Then we had a group chat of available LGs. Although many Ideas, Pros & Cons, etc. were discussed, we could boil down to a level one Agenda, after few hours.

Firstly, we had 2 Main Points to break:

Q1. Since we already have a huge number of contributors, how to coordinate this mass.

We jointly decided to have a Core Committee of Zonal, Active LGs. Due to lead activities in social media & quality presence in LG Connect, we could select Zonal Collaborators, comfortably.

Q2. India Being a Large country, how to involve maximum team members in #TeamIndia Mission?

Our solution started with….

Zonal Collaborators:

1. Central India: Ambrish Varshney ( @AmbrishVarshney )
2. South India: Slevamani R ( '@Selvamani_R) & Gurukrishnapriya ( @Gurukrishnapriya )
3. North-West: Naresh Darji & Tejal [Will be TAGGED in the comments, below; thanks for understanding]
4. West: Shruti Manjrekar
5. North: Ishanth Gautham
6. East: Trupti Pattnaik

Lead Collaborator:

1. The above team, jointly selected TravellerG as the Lead Collaborator.

Answer to:

Q1 & Q2:

The Zonal Collaborators along with Lead Collaborator will identify & encourage State Collaborators (India has 29 States & 9 Union Territories – as on Aug 1st, 2019) who in turn will try to bring Contributors, to the maximum extent possible. (Many states being large, State Collaborators may be up to 6 per state)

We could also start naming few State Collaborators: (This list just a sample; may take few weeks to complete)

1. Kerala: Veteran LG Varghese
2. Kerala: Sr LG aaryesdee
3. Karnataka: Connect 18 attendee Salman
4. Rajasthan: Naresh Prajapat

(List to be expanded, later)

Forth above Collaborators, we created a separate What’sApp group & discussed many points, which also included points discussed in the Main #TeamIndia Group discussions. Some of the important milestones achieved are:

1. Preparing a LOGO: To give Signature Identity to #TeamIndia Posts, we decided to have a Logo.

This excellent Logo was created by our Senior LG @AmbrishVarshney , in couple of Hours – Hats off to his team spirit & creativity.

Can I request your opinions, please…???

1. We decided to prepare few stickers also for exclusive use in the forum:

Both the stickers were prepared by “Trending Mater” @IshantHP_ig ; your comments & guidance can help us to improve, new ones.

1. Template for cover Photo: we are preparing the Cover Photo Template, which should be ready, in few days.
2. Serial Number for the posts, to be tagged in the main post: We are planning to request all who are preparing posts, will collaborate with @Gurukrishnapriya or @IshantHP_ig to get the Serial Number allotted, which will be reflecting on the Cover Photo.

In order to keep this post short, we shall update further, in a couple of days.

#TeamChallenge is an interesting experience, something that I always had in my mind, the possibility to work and cooperate online as a real Team, exchanging knowledge and experiences, becoming friends, learning from each other.

India is a huge country and, while we know a lot from TV and internet, with the #TeamChallenge and your unique experience of Local Guides, we can, we want, to learn more about places, history, food, that we usually don’t see on TV.

Through this challenge we can give visibility to things that are known only locally, we can dispel false myths, representing the Real India.
