Tea Plantation Fields in Rwanda

While most people have only seen this famous tree in Teabags, if you happen to be in Rwanda or just passing by don’t miss the change to see this drink in its growing state and get a sight into the mysteries of its growing process. The National Agricultural Export Development Board, abbreviated as “NAEB” states that Rwanda processes mostly Black tea, but also green tea and orthodox tea is also processed in small quantities. Nevertheless, do not be tricked they all look green in their growing time.

Every time I pass by these hillsides in high altitude regions, I stop for a couple of minutes and appreciate the views.

The Tea production is a massive funds generating crop that assist local community in their daily live but also provides the country with money to develop infrastructures around the regions.

Add it on your list! highly recommend it, It is free and accessible.
