I love Google maps because it helps me find the kind of places I want and their rate of preference. El Salvador is best known for exporting coffee and thus, there are many coffee shops and experienced baristas to delight you if you are a coffee-lover. But tea-lovers, where do we go? So I’ve made my top 3 places where you can have a cup of premium-quality-tea:
1. Biscuit Factory: Yes, it’s a coffee shop and restaurant, but there are up to 8 tea specialties and they can refill. From Oolong tea to green flavoured tea. The place is also very nice and you can accompany your tea with a variety of small desserts. Price is around $2.50.
2. Le Croissant: Their desserts are a legend, croissants of course are delicious, you can find healthy food. But most importantly, there’s my favourite white tea that I’ve found in San Salvador. There are other tea options but I always choose the same. Price is around $2.75.
3. Sucrèe: As the name says it itself, here you can find a sugary place… fancy exquisitely desserts. There’s a nice view and a menu of around 5 types of teas that are very different from what you’re used to. It’s a variety of flower or fruits savoured teas. You can also ask for refill. Prices are around $3.00-$4.00
These are rated by me at Google maps. If you’ve found any other place, let’s put it on discussion and I’ll go visit them as quickly as my tea ends.
