Tathagata tsal ( Buddha park) , ravangla, south Sikkim

  1. The Buddha Park of Ravangla, also known as TathagataTsal, is situated near Rabong(ravangla) South Sikkim district Sikkim, India. It was constructed between 2006 and 2013 and features a 130-foot (40 m) high statue of the Buddha as its centerpiece. The site was chosen within the larger religious complex of the Rabong gumpa

(Monastery), itself a centuries-old place of pilgrimage. Also nearby is Relang- monastery, key monastery in Tibetan Buddhism

Thanks for sharing your story with us! I admire the place that you visited. For me the Himalayas mountain range is a sacred region full of spectacular energy. When you visit there, you feel so small, time there as if has stopped. I would say the life rules there are quite different or at least this is my feeling when I traveled through Tibet.

I am curious to learn more about your trip to the Tathagata Tsal. Is it easy to reach there?
