Tateishi Park Beach Stroll

So, where do you go when you want to escape the urban sprawl of Tokyo life? The countryside… ? A beach… ? How about Yokosuka, Japan…? A lot of tourist may find the lesser crowded areas a refreshing break and may consider a nice trip to a remote beach almost empty.

A lot of travel writers may find this place to be a good spot for relaxing far away from the masses. A place to collect your thoughts and inspirations in a quiet beach setting.

It’s a clean beach with soft tides and rocks. Locals like to fish here and play with their kids on weekends, but on weekdays is very quiet.

Or, maybe you can take that special someone for a nice stroll along the rocky shore and on a clear day, see Mt. Fujii.

Where do you go to find that quiet place?

Hi, @user_not_found

Thank you for introducing this. There looks suited for spending a tranquil time.

I like to go to some castle ruins parks for finding a quiet place.
They are very quiet and there is a bench definitely. Moreover, most of them are good observatories:-)

@HiroyukiTakisawa This is a really nice photo and is calming to look at it, especially in Spring. I bet it would look nice in Autumn, too.

Hi @user_not_found ,

Wow what a lovely place! I always associate Japan with Tokyo and big cities with lights everywhere, so it’s nice to see another point of view of Japan and a really beautiful one.

Do you live close-by? Is this your preferred place to go and relax?

@user_not_found Great! I really like these kinds of getaways where you can enjoy and relax. Unfortunately, I don’t live anywhere close, but I’d love to visit Japan for sure.
