Hi there!
Did you know that part of city Liepaja was Western war port of Russian imperia before WW1?
About 120 years ago was building time of it what took about 10 years, but none of structures were used as fortress in war time.
Great structures with wall thickness 1-1,5m now are steadily being washed away into the sea.

Wow! No, I didn’t know that, @NaurisNazarovs . Do you know if submarines were used at that time, near the beach? Also, do you know any interesting facts or spots of this place? It will be even more interesting if you share some more details about this place.
Submarines were used in WW2, also first two Latvian. Many submarines were drowned in close war port water channel when Soviet union left Liepaja 1991-1993. Take a look on grids 56°35’27.5"N 21°00’53.1"E, there you will see more photos and view from sky

That’s an interesting way to present war location, @NaurisNazarovs . I like your point of view - coordinate. Do you know of nearby museums where Liepaja has been featured?
