As I write this post, I’m captivated by the breathtaking views surrounding me. The photos I’ve taken showcase the striking contrast of mountain colors from one side to the other, with the summit of Toubkal visible alongside Ouanoukrim (4089m) and Akioud (4070m). Below, the village of Imlil and the Imnane Valley stretch out, offering a picturesque backdrop.
Today, I’m hiking with two German travelers—a mother and daughter. We started our ascent from Imlil center (1740m) to Talamrout summit (2623m), which will take us approximately six hours.
I highly recommend this trek, which can be completed without a guide. However, hiring a local guide in Imlil is beneficial for a deeper understanding of the area and to support the local economy.
