Take advantage of the ups and downs of business

When I see brand new places opening (shops, stores, restaurants, bars) I wonder how many months --perhaps a few years-- they will last.

In a big city like Buenos Aires many stores, shops and restaurants, open and close --go bankrupt-- in relatively short periods of time, not only because of the bad economy but also because of lack of experience and/or perseverance.

I like to visit them when the decay start, when you don’t see the crowds flocking, and the prices are going down, trying to attract customers again. Is the telltale I recommend to whatch.

You can find out how long they where in the business by checking the opinions in Google maps or other guides. Decoration and cleanliness are also a good indication that tell us whether the place is too much decayed.
