Taj Mahal Photo Tour!

Cover photo created by LG @jayasimha78 using picture of Taj Mahal shot during sunrise.

On my recent trip to India, I had opportunity to visit Taj Mahal, in fact this was my first trip to Agra. I would like to share some of the pictures I captured during my trip

Here is Google Maps satellite view just to give an idea of the location where Taj Mahal is located and some of the other interesting points within this location.

Day before we visited Taj Mahal, wee visited Agra Fort. Here is the shot of Taj Mahal and Yamuna river shot from Agra Fort. This was shot with a 24-70mm lens, but cropped to make it look closer.

Next day morning we were at Taj Mahal around 5.30AM in the morning to view the Taj Mahal at Sun rise. Here is the shot of the Great Gate as show in the map above.

Here is my first close up view of the Taj Mahal at the entrance, trying to naturally frame it, just like many others here are doing with their mobile phone.

Sun rise colors were not bad at all, even though there were not much cloud to make it spectacular. Was able to capture some shades of orange and yellow in the background of Taj Mahal. It was worth visiting early in the morning.

Here is a wide angle view, which shows the Mogul Garden and the Taj Mahal.

Here is an attempt to capture reflection in the pond in front of Taj Mahal!

Here is a panoramic shot captured using mobile phone.

You can sun light falling on the Taj Mahal during Sun rise.

Here is a close up shot of Mehman Khana located right of the Taj Mahal. On the left of Taj Mahal you have Mosque, which is a similar looking structure as Mehman Khana.

Close up view of Yamuna River which flows right behind Taj Mahal

Another perspective, just to give an idea of size of this marvelous structure.

Here is a close up shot.

Shot indicating intricate work in the marble. Which is just amazing.Close up shot of some more carvings on marble and stones used decorate the structureHere is shot of Mogul Garden from Taj MahalHide and seek behind trees in the Mogul Garden.Natural Framing attempt!Just like me many other tourists getting a glimpse of this one of the wonders of the world.Sign off with one more shot of the pond, mogul garden and the entrance.
