Photography Tips to follow at Agra’s Taj
Be on time \ Early morning
If you want to capture Taj mahal, I will suggest going early morning as rush is less. The golden light at sunrise creates magic on the white marble dome. You will have to wake up before dawn. But it will be worth it when you see the Taj Mahal bathed in a sun rays glow.
First come first serve
You must make sure you are among the earliest visitors of the day.
Try to visit the booking office, where the tickets are issued the previous day. Objects like pen or keys are prohibited inside the Taj Mahal complex. This list is put up in the booking office. it’s a good idea to find all the information beforehand so you pack accordingly.
The next morning, be at the office at least 30 minutes before opening time (sunrise).
Note: The East gate has the less crowds compared to other gates.
If you feel so, you need a guide you can hire one from nearest offices available.
Different perspectives for Taj Mahal
You can experiment with different angle on Taj Mahal. Taj symmetry is perfect for experimenting with different angles.
Experiment with reflections of the Taj Mahal
The architects and designers of the Taj Mahal took symmetry very seriously not only to tombs, but to landscaping of the gardens which also follows the same principle.
The water canals and gardens follow the same principle of symmetry. Try to play with reflections of the Taj Mahal. Observe the reflections and cast in the water and click some random shots.
Try different light conditions inside the Taj
The beauty of Taj mahal enhance with more light, we will always suggest clicking more photos in morning and eve. However, people can capture pictures at any time they want.
Try different modes in manual functioning of camera.
If you are using Mobile, try decreasing and increasing exposure for great effect.
