There are many “Tachinomi Bar” in Japan.
“Tachinomi Bar” is to drink and eat while standing.
This place is called Stand New Sankaku in Honmachi, the business center of Osaka.
In the clean appearance, men and women are drinking and eating while standing tightly.
There is a cooking place in the middle, so you can see what they are cutting and cooking.
That attracts the charm of Stand New Sankaku.
Fish and seafood, vegetables are the main dishes.
That’s really delicious.
Fish is juicy with the fat on board, and the vegetables are fresh and crispy.
Local people are the main people, so it’s hard to get in, but when you come to Osaka, you should definitely try standing and drinking.

This is a very interesting concept. How long do people usually stand and eat for?? Is it considered a quick meal?
By the way, that amberjack sashimi looks very very delicious! I’m getting hungry just from looking at it!

People usually takes 1 hour to drink and eat.
Everything delicious here so I recommend if you like fish and vegetables you should go.
I have been to tachinomi bar in Kyoto Osaka, I think this is the best place.

I usually drink beer. Japanese sake also I drink.
I highly recommend sake. It tastes really good with fresh fish.

Hi @daisuke_osaka , welcome to Connect and thank you for your first post. It is very interesting and I am sure that Local Guides here will like it a lot. Tachinomi bar is a great experience and they’re worth a visit during your time in Japan. As I remember standing bars are scattered all across the city and at least one of them will be nearby to an area you’re passing through all over Japan

ほんと美味しかったです。夏って感じを味わえました。
ハモは変な臭みもなく、さっぱりした味で、ビールと非常にMatchしますね。
