Hi @Mongoose ,

Thanks for sharing your lovely photos! They look stunning! Is this your hometown? Can you share more information about your photographs? Is that you with the surfboard? Do you like surfing? That’s one thing I really would love to do, but I need bigger waves for that.

Hi.

Cape Town is the place where I am currently, I think I have been here for about 5 years or so. I am a bit of a free soul so to speak, but I do love Cape Town.

I work full time as a Technician, supervisor, planner, photographer, teacher, IT support for a Medical Company in Cape Town. Then at night or when I get the chance, I explore , either on my own or with a friend or two.

I am not a normal event photographer, I like fine art, and street photography is my absolute vice. I have been taking photos for about 25 years. I have recently started doing film and writing short stories. But enough about me … Cape Town wow …

Cape Town is a city with a million faces, I don’t mean its citizens, but all the different aspects of it. It can be hot, and it can be cold, both the weather and all in less than a few hours. She can be beautiful, pretty flowers and crisp light breezes, and then she can turn ugly, icy cold and winds that will sweep you off your feet.

So let me try and give you a glimpse of what Cape Town is like, The good, the Bad, the sad, the mad. I will try not to overpower you with images, and maybe reveal some of Cape Towns Secrets. It’s not a simple place, or easy to understand, it has forgotten history, and Terrain as diverse as the people that call her The Mother City

@Mongoose Thanks a lot for sharing more information and photos! Cape Town definitely is worth visiting! I haven’t been to that part of the world, but I’m always looking to explore new places. Your photographs do show a vast area of the city, thank you.

Cape Town will surprise you, It will give you all you expected and more. So don’t be afraid to go off the normal tourist attractions and explore.

Just a short brisk walk around the central business district of Cape Town will give you a fair idea of the brisk, fun, diverse and helpful people of Cape Town, The architecture and tall buildings will have you gasping in wonder.

There is so much to do, so much to see, Art Galleries and restaurants, Unique clothing shops, art evenings, and so much more. Keep your ear out, ask what events are happening during your visit,

So explore, Be Safe, eat well, sleep well and love well… Cape Town is waiting for you.
