This is currently not available, but feel free to shop via the Google Merchandise Store. Make sure to also visit the Idea Exchange section of Connect, where you can vote and comment on this idea: Give Local Guide T-Shirt as perk.
That said, perks for different locations may be offered from time to time. The Local Guides program is constantly evolving. To maximize your chances of being eligible for a future perk opportunity, continue to add high quality contributions to Google Maps.
Local Guides who have opted to receive the benefit emails will be updated with any new rewards. We encourage Local Guides to check their email settings and update/monitor their email preferences as well as their spam or promotions folder.

Local Guides T-shirts were given to Level 4+ Local Guides who reached Level 4+ in 2015. That was a one time thank you gift.
How can we get google local guide t-shirt?
I’m a level 6 local Guide who has posted a lot of reviews and posted a lot of photos on nearby and so many places I’ve Visited .I’m wondering how can we get a google t shirt, because it would be very helpful to wear a t shirt instead of explaining to the owner of the place.
Simply wearing this t shirt would give a lot of confidence and faith the next time when i enter a mall/shop.
I am going to now level 8 almost in next month. You can check this image as reference. I Just received that socks as a perk after that nothing came even promotional email for this goodies & other perks. Reply Fast as much as possible !! Thank You
Here is a fast respons as requested by you. But it is not the answer you hoped for.
If you search for ID cards here on Connect you will see that proposals similar to yours have come up several times before. I think Google is very hesitant on this for a good reason: if we as local guides had an ID card or any kind of uniform this could very easily lead to misuse. Some local guides might be tempted to accept or seek special treatment or benefits from businesses in exchange of favorable reviews. Or just to be in good standing with Google. This could jeopardize the credibility of all local guides.
I’m not saying that a t-shirt or an ID card would not be helpful, but there might be negative consequences. Also, we should remember that we are not representing Google when we are acting as local guides.
Hope this is helpful and can spark an interesting discussion.

@MortenCopenhagen is, as usual, absolutely correct in what he says.
Having “branded” volunteer guides could easily give the impression that you’re a Google employee or even just an endorsed representative of the company and therefore cause businesses to respond to your custom differently. Of course this shouldn’t be the case and everyone should receive the same level of service but we all know that isn’t always the case.
Be a volunteer, enjoy the program and if you receive any “extras” be incredibly grateful - many of us haven’t even received the magical socks 
If you want big rewards Google Local Guides probably isn’t the hobby for you.

As for the other kinds of shirt: Local Guides team members also have Local Guides t-shirts but those were created by us and for Googlers. No Local Guides items are currently available for purchase. We do appreciate your enthusiasm, but there are no publicly-available t-shirts being given to Local Guides - hopefully they return to the global Google Merchandise store in the future:).

I don’t think google assigned any t-shirts for contributions, however people made their own t-shirts with logos that they were only allowed to use as local guides. Usually worn during meet-ups. Being a local guide is a voluntary service which you can op-out at any time. That’s great you’re receiving inspiration from fellow guides on ways to contribute better, keep contributing please so we can have as much helpful information as possible that can be helpful and accessible to anyone.

@EmmanuelTex glad you are contributing on Google Maps to make Lagos a better city. Just like Nuhu stated, Local Guides is a voluntary programme meaning that you don’t expect anything for your contribution.
We are here to learn, contribute, make friends and improve the world.
Local Guides can be eligible for perks but there are conditions attached. One way to get a shirt could be during Google organized events. So look out for such opportunities in the future.

Since you are in Lagos, do look out for T-shirts made by LGs during meet-ups. You wish to purchase a shirt via the official Google merchandise storewhere I got mine.

Im wondering how to demand or suggest or do something about the t-shirts… it’s a pleasure to contribute, but most of us would better contributions wearing a t-shirt, a cap or even a pin!!!
Anybody know how can we get an oficial t-shirt? i’ve been reading that from the level 5 or 6 is the only requirement…im level 7 almost 8, i guess i deserve one!!

The Local Guides program is for individuals who contribute on Google Maps who like to help others to discover and explore their world. Local Guides receive benefits depending on their level which depends on the number of contributions they make to Google Maps.
You can check your current perks in your personal Local Guides profile home. If nothing is listed, then there is no current perks for yourself.
