Syrian food (refugees)

About a year ago, I was out with my wife on a friday night and we were looking for a different place that was cozy but not fancy and we ended up finding this small joint called Achuria. A true Syrian restaurant owned by a family of Syrian refugees. I couldn’t believe they story and we were so moved by it, that I decided to put them on the map (literally on the google maps), for their food, their story and their passion, was worth telling.

Soon after my review, their business started booming and I was so happy to know that in a small way I had something to do with it. This is the beauty of being a local guide. To help others without looking for anything in return.
