Had a chance to see a Jewish Synagogue built around 1000 AD at Mala, in Kerala while passing through Irinjalakuda, Puthenchira, to Kochi.
It is maintained by ASI ( Archeological Survey Of India).
Local Jews migrated to Israel in 1955 and the Government in order to maintain the legacy, has been maintaining it under Muziris Heritage Project. There are no Jews now here, it is said.
