We will meet at Cockle Bay Wharf ((fountain in the picture here) on King Street Wharf ) at midday and have a great afternoon wandering around getting lots of pictures of all the beautiful features highlighted on Google maps at Darling Harbour. This is going to be a funtastic Photo walk of Darling Harbour with a Food crawl too! Start for lunch at any one of the many fine choices. Lets try a dish in each restaurant and have a five course meal, a little at each place and everyone can choose the place that they most desire. We can split up into teams so everyone is happy! Then choose another place for ice-cream for those with a sweet tooth and finish at the day with a coffee and or drinks too. Some choices to Showcase the beauty of our Sydney: GAPU-MONUK SALTWATER - Free Entry Gapu-Monuk Saltwater reveals sacred clan designs demonstrating enduring connection to specific sea country. The Yirrkala Bark Paintings of Sea Country are as historic as they are sacred, as they will never be produced again. There are some Chinese New Year Festivities we can join like the Chinese Lantern festival with an amazing 3,000 lights joining seven giant lantern displays. Plus also the Chinese Dragon Boat races across Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour. So there will be plenty to see and fun to have with all the top Google Maps Local Guides great company!! Hahaha yes it is a wonderful fountain with birds statues and real birds, seagulls loving to join the fun too! The Australian Seagulls are called Silver gulls. The Cockle Bay Wharf Fountain from statue birds are the Brolga it is a native bird also known as the Australian Crane About the The Cockle Bay Wharf Fountain The Dancing Brolgas fountain is located at the front of the Cockle Bay Wharf building at Darling Harbour. It was designed by Terrance Plowright and created in cast stainless steel in 1998.
