A very tasty and healthy dish,Sweet corn khichdi. Easy to prepare, easy to serve,easy to eat and along with this very healthy food.Remove all grains from corm, put in blender with redchili, coriander and some water,blend for a while to crush.then put this mixture in a pot and keep on burner ,mix througly. You can add ground nut pieces also,add some lemonjuice also for more taste. Everyone try
@RakeshMaloo , this reminded me Butte ka kis which I had eat in Sarafa market Indore. And having tasted it, I completely agree with you that this simple dish is very tasty. Also from your last sentence regarding adding groundnut chutney,shows Solapur’s love for groundnut. @Shrut19 Solapur ground nut chutney is famous and has many types of it.
Thanks for sharing such a delicious yet easy to prepare traditional composition. Khichdi looks so vibrant and inviting. Corn Khichdi is not something like a normal Khichdi. Red Chili adds a nice rich spicy flavor to the crushed Sweet Corns. The recipe is very interesting and I would definitely love to prepare it sometime. Cheers…!!!
