Sweet yogurt.....মিষ্টি দই

Sweet yogurt in Bangla (Mishti doi, মিষ্টি দই), a traditional Bengali dessert, is best cooked and served in a handmade earthen pot. The dishes of yogurt are placed around an ember of coal (as pictured), after which a large cover is set on top. The yogurt is left to ferment overnight. Using earthenware is important in the process since it absorbs excess moisture and makes the yogurt perfect!

Thanks @Wei929 you like it. Welcome to Bangladesh. Yogurt of Bogura is one of the most famous in Bangladesh. It’s a delicious dairy product, made from cow milk. Yogurt is produced and sold all over the country, but yogurt from Bogura is the best in quality and taste. By the way where you from?

Interesting! Sweet yogurt… Does the yogurt taste sweet rather than sour? @bdmafuz

I’m in love with yogurt currently  , so that I’m happy to know more the making process of your sweet yogurt. Was it made in a traditional way?

If you love yogurt, check out my post about When Yogurt Meets Purple Rice . It’s one of the good way to serve yogurt drink.
