According to South-African Afrikaner tradition Sunday lunch is made on fire. So for this Sunday lock-down lunch it was Sweet chili marinaded Chicken, with some “Boerewors”, “Braaibroodjies” and Mushrooms stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon. It goes by many names but we know it as “fokkertjies”. Serve al the food together with a quick salad and some Wine.

Is this a famous meal in your country? Is it a dish that one can have at a restaurant as well?
I love mushrooms, but I never tried them with bacon! I usually like to prepare mushrooms with butter in the oven, very tasty too.
