That’s really an awesome idea to connect with Local Guides of area through Local Guides Meet-ups.

For this idea, I recommend you to creating a Meet-up and by this interested Local Guides can indicate their interest and participate.

Since you are new to the Community here are the steps of creating a meet-up:

  1. Create an event on the site of your choosing
  2. Visit the Meet-ups page on Connect
  3. Click “submit meet-up” and enter all information (including your event link)
  4. Don’t forget to add an original photo
  5. Click submit

Once your submission is approved, it will be added to A Dedicated Section for UpComing Meet-ups where you can view and search activities.

Since you are back on Connect after a while, I suggest you go through the following articles Your guide to Connect and 14 helpful tips for using Connect. To learn more about each topic, please read How to choose a topic for your Connect post.
