In support of the initiative “Let’s Empower Women-owned Businesses on Google Maps” by Connect Moderator @Globe_trotter_Ish, I’m excited to share the inspiring story of an incredible woman entrepreneur — Arathi Subin.
Arathi made a courageous decision to leave her secure government job and follow her true passion: baking. What began as a small home-based cake venture has now grown into Arsu Cake Studio, with charming outlets in 3 towns.
I had visited Arsu Cake Studio several times, always drawn by their delicious cakes and welcoming vibes, but I never knew about the inspiring woman behind it until I recently read an article about Arathi on Instagram. Her journey makes every bite from Arsu Cake Studio even sweeter.
Interestingly, when I spoke to the staff, they shared that most of their business comes through Google Maps. Thanks to the reviews, photos, and updates contributed by the community, small businesses like Arsu Cake Studio are able to grow and reach more people every day.
It’s truly amazing how a simple tool like Google Maps can empower local entrepreneurs, connect customers to passionate businesses.

Once a businessman lists his business on Google Business, when someone needs a particular product and searches it on Google, Google provides them with all the options for the product they need and this is where business traffic is generated. Yes @ShailendraOjha , it works like free advertisements for small business and that really helps to get new customers and get a virtual tour of the place without stepping inside the store …
I reached 17.5 k roads already…my goal for this campaign in 25k roads and I have one more month left
