Supporting Local Businesses-Vikash Organic Store

Challenges post.

An organic shop in our street, isn’t it amazing. Previously I used to search for organic shops in Google Maps for buying home products. Later on as a boon to me, we got an organic shop in my street itself. This shop started with acquiring products directly from organic farmers, getting unique produce to home. Developed rapidly and I had to edit my review recently about their upgrade.

The curator of this shop is having a terrace garden and he sells many home grown products.

The above is the picture of home grown greens. Below is the video of full grown produce.

He also acquired fruits and vegetables from his friends home gardens too. This idea made him develop to get products directly from organic farmers.

Now he sells unique organic products like coco nectar, home-made snacks and pickles, batter, which his mother makes. Home-made shampoos, organic hair dye, wooden tooth brushes, etc., which he acquires from small vendors.

The above pictures are eco-friendly wooden toothbrushes.

This post is part of the following challenges.

@MathanVibranarayan A Tribute to Small Businesses

@SharmaKK Sustainability

@TravellerG Plants Appreciation Day

I am happy to mention, that this store development made me edit the review.

FYKI this does not comply with any of my challenges, I think you might have wrongly tagged me instead of someone else.

Hi @Gurukrishnapriya,

Thank you for sharing!

To keep Connect organized, I am removing the “Nature” tag from your topic as it is not relevant.

Please note, using the right tags and categories on your topics makes it easier for other Local Guides to find what they’re looking for in the community.

Hi @AngieYC

Thanks for reading my post.

Sorry if I have given a wrong tag. Let me explain. I have mentioned that he grows greens and vegetables. Acquires organic prodects directly from farmers. I have posted a video of the plants grown. Hence I have used nature tag as I thought it is relevant to nature. Hope my explanation gives an idea why I tagged Nature.

Hi @Gurukrishnapriya,

Thank you for your reply and we appreciate your explanation.

The “Nature” tag fits topics about parks, mountains, exploring waterfalls, and catching sunsets at scenic spots. That is why it is removed from your topic. :slight_smile:
