@jayasimha78 we still have many restrictions but yes places are open with precautionary measures, I already had planned a food Crawl in March but couldn’t do it as we had lockdown.
You can still enjoy the amazing virtual meet ups we have. Local guides around the world are super creative and coming up with fun and learn meet ups
Great to hear you will be map editing as well @FalguniP . I can see a few things to do in that area right away, like moving pins to the correct location:
Digibank ATM: that’s not really in the middle of the parking, is it?
Really respect &loved your suggestions, dear friend @JanVanHaver
Thanks for sharing your valuable time too…
But in my experience, except when a group of LGs do the same edit, rarely our individual EDITS get approved.
& for your info: In a country like India, particularly from the rural areas, you cannot get a group LGs to report “Problems”.
Kindly have a look: Not only that there is NO entity with this name (I stay very close to this location), but this cafe is shown as located in a lake - This place.
@JanVanHaver yes, You’re right there are many such places which need correction, here many shops are located inside the residential buildings on the ground floor
Many small individual homes are converted into shops and as these small houses are built shapelessly (not in line as there is a curved road and these were built few decades ago) which have a footpath and a a blank space too so there as a lot of errors in pining them
Thank you for notifying the places I will surely correct them
Thanks for the additional input @TravellerG . I know there are more restrictions as to what is allowed in India compared to the country I live in, but if suggested edits don’t immediately get a ‘not applied’ and if some do get approved, this means that there is no total block for that type of edits.
It might be more a matter of trust score, which takes time to build up, and a lot of approved edits to reach the ‘approved immediately’ stage.
That cafe in the lake is indeed incorrectly positioned. And as you say it is close to you: could you possible share a picture where it can clearly be seen where it is located? I would then like to try and reposition the pin myself.
@Rohan10 if this is your first physical Meet-up, there is one thing I can tell you for sure: it won’t be your last one! These things are highly addictive
