Supporting a Micro Business Over a Tea Conversation in Meerut

I’m delighted to share that yesterday, I had the opportunity to support a micro business while enjoying a delightful Chai Pe Charcha with @SumitNangia in Meerut.

In the evening, when I met LG Sumit, I suggested having a chai session, and he recommended a visit to Tea Point. Upon reaching there, we ordered two kulhad teas and, as usual, I checked if the business was listed on Google Maps. To my surprise, it wasn’t! Without delay, I added it to the Maps, ensuring better visibility for this micro business.

The tea stall was bustling with customers, as it was peak business hours, so we couldn’t interact much with the owner. Instead, we engaged in an insightful discussion about Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). One of the key points we pondered was whether the term “local business” can truly substitute “micro and small businesses” in its essence.

Our discussion followed a Japanese-style approach, where the first meeting is focused on deep discussions rather than immediate decision-making. This method allows for better issue analysis, leading to well-informed actions in subsequent meetings.

Additionally, this Chai Pe Charcha was in support of the campaign initiated by @TusharSuradkar ji, who has been actively promoting meaningful discussions over tea to drive positive change.

This conversation is just the beginning! We remain committed to supporting micro and small businesses, ensuring they gain the recognition and resources they deserve. Looking forward to continuing this discussion in our next Chai Pe Charcha session!

It’s interesting that you added the tea stall to Google Maps – small acts like that can make a big difference for local businesses.
Keep it up.

All our local guides should give priority to any small traders. Small businessmen can benefit from us and grow into big businesses. Thanks to @K.K.Sharma for the detailed write up on Small Traders Connect.
