I am planning for my trip to Istanbul, and I am struggling reading the names of the cities and places in Turkish language.

My suggestion to have the option to chose the language of the name of the places in the foregin countries.

Please note that, Google Maps automatically takes you to a country domain and shows place names in a country’s local languages. You can change a country domain or language by using Google Maps. So you can view Google Maps in your preferred language without changing the language settings on your phone.

Therefore, I will move your post to the How-tos section of Connect, since what you’ve posted is an existing feature.

Please note that, Google Maps automatically takes you to a country domain and shows place names in a country’s local languages. You can change a country domain or language by using Google Maps. So you can view Google Maps in your preferred language without changing the language settings on your phone.
