Today, I pass through Indore-Betul Nation Highway (NH-47)
On road side i see a pottery store name Shree Radhe Krishna Matka Centre

Especially about Earthen Pot

Earthen pots, also known as “matkas,” have been an integral part of Indian culture and tradition, especially during the hot summer months. These humble pots play a significant role in keeping water cool and fresh, providing numerous benefits to people across the country.

Earthen pots are a simple yet effective way to keep water cool and fresh during the summer months in India. Their natural cooling properties, chemical-free nature, and cultural significance make them an essential part of Indian tradition. By using earthen pots, people can not only stay healthy and hydrated but also contribute to a more sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle.

Excellent photos and review of the place @VijendraPatidar :+1:

I prefer the black mud pots over the red clay pots since they provide more coolness.

These matka artisans, called the ‘Kumhars’, are a boon to our society since they provide naturally cool water when required.

Above all, they are eco-friendly :globe_showing_europe_africa:
