Hi my fellow local guides. Hope you all are in good health. Today The Community Challenge was completed. Hope you guys joined the challenge and support your nearest local business with your contributions.
Today I’m going to share my experience and feeling in this post. Hope many of you can relate to this. At first I want to thank @DeniGu for sharing the information about the challenge.
After joining the challenge I set a target for me. I’ll try to contribute minimum 5 local businesses per day. I work in a cloth shop. That’s why I have to spend a lot of time in a local market. This makes the challenge easier to me.
Everyday I visited a different kind of shops. Like Cloth Shop, Tailors, Stationary, Electronics Shop, Mobile Shop, Restaurant, Photo Studio and Cosmetics Shop. I noticed many of them are on the map, but showed Temporarily Closed. After talking with them, I edit the business information. And I also added some shops on the map.
While I contributing on maps, some word pop-up in my mind that I’m digitalizing my local market with this. Which is helpful for both the visitors and owners. And I’m so much happy to be a part of this great work.
Unfortunately, I faced some problems. Like, when I added photos with reviews it didn’t count the points. And some of my review is not shown on maps. I filled out the form, but didn’t get any feedback. Hope this problem will be resolved soon.
Congratulations on becoming top 1% in your country. I am happy to learn you work in a clothes market, that’s interesting since I have some experience in that.

The form is only for; "And some of my review is not shown on maps." Not for "photos with reviews it didn’t count the points"
Hi @Ewaade_3A , Thanks for your comment and showing your concern.
Actually, you didn’t get my last point. I’m sorry about that I failed to understand you.
The past few months I noticed some of my reviews are not shown in public. I checked the reviews and didn’t find any community violations. I also noticed some of our fellow local guides also faced this problem. If I’m not wrong @TsekoV share the form in someone’s comment, who faced the problem.
As per picture you can see that I collage two screenshots. On the right side I used incognito mood to see which review are showing. And in left my recent contribution which is not shown.
@Saiyen Ithink it’s important to recognize the value of these businesses and to make sure we are doing our part to support them. Not only does it help our local economy, but it also helps to create a sense of community. It’s great to see Local Guides Connect offering this challenge to help local businesses during this difficult time.
