Sunder Nursery

Sunder Nursery is a beautiful place in New Delhi; I think you should visit this place if you have some times to go somewhere in New Delhi. A big garden with Flowers, Trees, an artificial Lake, nursery, and 16th century buildings makes this place attractive and more beautiful for Tourist.

I have been to this park early in the morning, it was so beautiful and quiet place, because that time only few tourist in there.

Just a bit about the Nursery:

The Sunder Nursery is a 16th century heritage park; it is located at the Nizamuddin area in New Delhi. It is just opposite site of the Humayun’s Tomb Complex, the park largely follows the Mughal Grand Trunk Road connecting significant monuments. The area has been recognized by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in the year 1993.

What you can See:

In the Sunder Nursery you can see Sundarwala Burj, Sundarwala Mahal, Lakkarwala Gumbad, Nursery, Water Fountain, An artificial Lake.

Travel Information:

The park is very near from the Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station.

You can go by walk from the Railway Station and Bus Stops, many Buses go through the place.

Visiting Time:

Sunrise until Sunset (every day)

Entry Fees:

At this moment entry is free for everybody; I’m not sure how long it will be free. For your kind information, I have seen the entry ticket price chart in front of the gate as below:

Adult: Foreign Tourist: 100 RS

Tourist from SAARC countries: 35 RS

Indian: 35 RS

Children: Children between 5 to 12 years: 15 RS

You’re right Sundarwala Mahal is really beautiful among two other buildings Sundarwala Burj and Lakkarwala Gumbad. If you go to Delhi then please visit this place, definitely you will like the place.
